DESCRIPTION

The Vallon de Beiral dry canyon is our most accessible route. The approach walk is short, the difficulty is progressive, the first abseils are only 2 – 3 metres long, and the biggest rope descents are towards the end of the route and can be avoided easily. The trip takes around two hours. It’s ideal for children aged eight and over, but also for adults who prefer a moderate difficulty level. This short excursion can be combined with the walk to the grandiose Clars waterfall.

RENDEZ-VOUS

When you reach the village of Escragnolles 06460, continue towards Grenoble on the D6085 for another 2 km. The car park is on the left-hand side of the road, Chemin du Mendic. If you are coming from Castellane or Séranon, the car park is 6 km after the village of La Clue.
